Michael is a Corporate and Securities Partner at Lucosky Brookman LLP. He calls upon his many years of experience as outside general counsel and in-house counsel to both start-up companies and financial institutions.  Michael understands the ever-challenging role of avoiding potential legal and financial landmines in booming and busting economies. He leverages this experience serving as outside general counsel for many family offices, private equity funds and high net worth clients who are focused on expanding their operations, products, and services by navigating them through these needs, while staying in sync with regulatory changes and technological advancements.

Michael’s experience representing professional athletes in their business ventures has brought him acclaim on podcasts and television products such as Players TV - Front Office and The Post-Game.

Prior to joining Lucosky Brookman, Michael was a partner at Newmeyer & Dillion for over five years, a senior associate at Bowles & Verna for five years and in-house counsel for Catalyst Financial for two years.  Michael is a graduate of Valparaiso School of Law where he was President of the Environmental Law Society.  He graduated Marian University where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  While attending college he was a four-year collegiate athlete on both the Cross Country and Track Teams.
