Scott Taffet

Scott D. Taffet is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on insurance defense and coverage litigation, including personal injury, trucking and transportation, property damage, construction and professional liability matters.  Scott has represented national insurance companies and their insureds, as well as individual clients in multimillion dollar matters and also pro bono cases. He has significant experience conducting trials and representing clients in arbitrations and other alternative dispute resolution forums.

Scott is a respected member of the New York State Bar Association. He serves on the boards of his local volunteer ambulance corps and on the Transplant Forum.

Scott served as Deputy Press Secretary for the New York City Comptroller and previously worked for the General Counsel at Polo Ralph Lauren.
